With 2 degreed wildlife biologist on staff, Grosse Savanne is constantly working towards creating the best waterfowl habitat possible. Mallards, pintail, gadwall, teal, and a variety of divers are just a few of the species that will fill your bag limit. Along with fabulous duck populations, white fronted geese and snow geese abound on the property.

You can also experience a tradition of hunting in south Louisiana that only a few are allowed to enjoy. Since tags are not available to the general public in Louisiana, Grosse Savanne has created a package that allow its guests to participate in the harvest of over 200 alligators in 10 action packed days.
