POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
All overnight packages are based on double occupancy per room. Guests requesting a single occupancy room will be charged an additional fee per night.
RESERVATIONS / CONFIRMATIONS / DEPOSITS / PAYMENTS
Reservations should be made well in advance. Dates requested will not be guaranteed until a signed confirmation, along with a 50% deposit, is received within the time frame specified on the confirmation.
The remaining balance of charges must be paid at the end of the trip.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out time is 1:00 p.m. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at approximately 7:00 p.m.
No-shows will be charged the full amount. Parties arriving with fewer guests than reserved will be charged the full amount. No discounts.
No guests under the age of 15 are allowed to participate in hunting activities.
Hunter Safety Certification is required for all hunting guests born after September 1, 1969.
Licenses are NOT available for purchase at the lodge. Guests must purchase their hunting and fishing licenses prior to arrival. Information regarding license purchases can be found online or via a toll free number directly from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Shells are available for purchase at Grosse Savanne. This cost is NOT included in the package rates.
WHAT TO BRING?
As Louisiana weather tends to be unpredictable, we suggest layered clothing to accommodate both cold and warm weather.
For our hunters, we suggest you bring knee boots if possible.
PERSONAL HUNTING DOGS
Guests are free to bring along their hunting dog for the hunting experience. No dogs are allowed up-stairs inside the main lodge. Dogs are allowed down-stairs in our "mud room" if housed in their own portable kennel/crate. Please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing your dog along.
Our hunting guests are NOT allowed to shoot guides’ limits. We abide by all Federal and State regulations.
There is an additional cost for meals/beverages for non-lodging guests.
Gratuities for staff members are optional and at the discretion of our customers. We ask that you submit gratuities to management to dispense to our staff members in accordance with your wishes.
A variety of complimentary liquors, beers, and wines are included in our overnight packages. Special bar requests will be provided if possible and are subject to an additional cost.
*Liquor will not be available after 11:00 p.m. (Excludes beer and wine)
*Liquor and wine will not be allowed on any Grosse Savanne boats. (Excludes beer)
*Alcohol of any kind is not allowed in Grosse Savanne vehicles.
*Alcohol of any kind is not allowed before and during any activities involving firearms.
Emergency care phone numbers are posted in various locations in the lodge and our guides carry a card with these phone numbers also. We have personnel who are CPR and First-Aid certified and are trained in the use of an AED, which we have at the lodge. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you have any special medical needs and/or dietary requirements.
LOST & FOUND/ITEMS LEFT BEHIND
Should you depart our facility and find you have left something behind, we will, if possible, return the item to you via the shipping method you specify at your expense.
Trip cancellations within 30 days of the booked date will require forfeiture of the deposit amount. Deposits for trips cancelled prior to 30 days of the booked date will be rolled over as a credit for a future trip. No refunds of deposits will be issued.
